Our Mission at Stars of Tomorrow Youth Foundation (SoTYF) is to serve the disadvantaged children ages 5 to 18 and their families in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Stars of Tomorrow Youth Foundation will provide financial assistance/aide to children with critical needs who desire to play sports or be involved in extracurricular activities. This program offers its services year-round. We at The Stars of Tomorrow Youth Foundation give children the chance to enjoy childhood activities not normally available in their communities.
Stars of Tomorrow Youth Foundation helps children traumatized by gangs, drugs or community violence. We provide programs that find creative ways to teach children how to live in diversity while maintaining peaceful communities. While creating hope and dreams, the programs teach the children how to resolve conflict and prevent future violence. Our premise is very simple: We provide positive activities and role models to help the youth of our communities gain essential life skills. We are committed to building positive self worth and promoting a sense of accomplishment by engaging in fun and competitive activities.
The president, component directors and a group of volunteer board members set policy and direct operations for the foundation. We will work with teenagers to attempt to cut down on juvenile crimes, Our programs we will make our children’s dreams come true. The Stars of Tomorrow Youth Foundation will also provide a teen hotline, counseling, mentoring program and a tutor’s referral service. We will work hard to encourage more parental involvement and restore discipline. We are endeavoring to better our community “By Teaching Today’s Youth…To be Tomorrow’s Leaders.”

NABFEME is a 501 (c) (6) non-profit women’s networking and empowerment support group led by entertainment executive volunteers who seek to increase the awareness and raise the profile of African American women in music and entertainment. Over the past five years, NABFEME has grown into a world-class leadership organization that provides access, information, leadership exchange and development for women on issues of concern in music and entertainment. The organization also sponsors a mentoring program for younger women seeking to achieve a higher level of success in entertainment; an internship program called Intern–To–Work that offers executive shadowing and corporate entertainment related internship opportunities; plus scholarships are awarded to deserving students who are furthering their education in music and entertainment. Our executive team is committed to investing in the education of future leaders and providing programs and alliances, which will increase the participation and awareness of women of color in the entertainment arena.
